I have always loved to plan a great party, host a great party, and most of all enjoy a great party! Why not become a professional party planner? It never occurred to me the importance of a party planner until the day I started to plan my own wedding. Boy was I in over my head!! What was I thinking by not hiring someone who does this for a living?? It was the single most stressful thing in my life! The good news? I learned so much and I knew right then that I would never want anyone to go through what I went through. Planning the wedding itself was difficult, but then we had the party to plan.......I mean reception.......I mean party. Basically, a reception is nothing but a HUGE party! Looking back I would have done things differently, but now that I know the ins and outs I am prepared to help anyone looking to just enjoy that special day they have planned but no time to plan it. Deciding to become a Certified Planner was an easy decision and with the experience I had as an intern in 2010, made me realize this was truly my calling.
